This Privacy Policy explains how Aplyvo (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit or use this website.

1. Information We Collect

  • Basic usage data: pages visited, button clicks, referral domain, UTM campaign parameters, and timestamps used to understand website and funnel performance.
  • Approximate location: country and province/state when available. We use this for basic analytics, regional pricing/display decisions, and security monitoring.
  • Contact information: such as your name and email address if you subscribe, request the Free Resume Starter Kit, contact us, or make a purchase.
  • Purchase information: limited order details needed to confirm access, deliver digital products, and provide support.
  • Resume scan data: if you use ATS Resume Checker, your uploaded PDF may be processed temporarily to extract text and generate a scan preview.

2. How We Collect Information

  • Automatically when you browse the website, including through basic analytics, logs, and similar technologies.
  • When you voluntarily submit information through forms, such as newsletter, opt-in, contact, checkout, or support forms.
  • When you upload a PDF resume to ATS Resume Checker for temporary text extraction and structure analysis.
  • When you click links to external websites, partners, or third-party services.

3. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We currently use basic anonymous event logging to understand page views, button clicks, referral sources, and campaign performance. For this basic analytics setup, we do not use analytics cookies, persistent browser identifiers, or cross-session visitor IDs.

Some third-party services, such as Stripe for payments, may use their own cookies or security technologies when you interact with their services. Those services are governed by their own privacy and security practices.

4. Analytics

We collect basic website analytics such as event name, page path, referral domain, UTM source, UTM medium, UTM campaign, country, province/state when available, and event timestamp.

We do not store names, emails, raw IP addresses, hashed IP addresses, full user agents, or persistent visitor IDs in our basic marketing event logs. Analytics data is used to understand traffic, page performance, and funnel activity at an aggregate level.

5. Security Logs

To protect the website, forms, checkout flow, and admin area, we may keep separate security logs for suspicious activity, failed login attempts, blocked form submissions, bot traffic, or abuse attempts. These logs may include event name, page path, approximate location, timestamp, reason for the block, hashed email where relevant, hashed IP address, and user agent.

Security logs are used only for fraud prevention, abuse monitoring, troubleshooting, and website protection. They are separate from our basic marketing analytics.

6. ATS Resume Checker & Resume Uploads

ATS Resume Checker is designed to process your uploaded resume temporarily and return a plain-text extraction preview, section detection, bullet checks, and common formatting-risk feedback.

For the Beta version, the tool is intended for text-based PDF resumes exported from tools such as Word or Google Docs. Scanned, image-based, password-protected, corrupted, or heavily designed PDFs may not extract correctly. We do not use ATS Resume Checker as a malware scanner, and results may vary depending on the layout, export method, and quality of the PDF.

Unless otherwise stated, uploaded resume files and extracted resume text are processed temporarily only to generate the scan result shown to you and are not intentionally stored as permanent user records.

7. Contact Forms & Support Messages

If you contact us, we may store your name, email address, subject, and message so we can respond and manage support history. If the same email contacts us multiple times, we may link those messages to the same contact record instead of creating duplicates.

8. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Sites

When you click an affiliate or external link, you may be redirected to a third-party website. Those sites may collect data according to their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We encourage you to review any third-party privacy policy before providing personal information.

9. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the website.
  • To provide access to the Free Resume Starter Kit and paid digital products.
  • To process digital product orders and deliver access links.
  • To generate ATS Resume Checker scan results when you upload a resume.
  • To respond to your messages, support requests, and inquiries.
  • To analyze basic traffic, campaign performance, page views, clicks, and funnel activity without using persistent visitor IDs.
  • To send optional newsletters, download emails, follow-up emails, or product updates if you have subscribed or requested a resource.

10. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the website, such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, and email delivery providers.
  • Payment processors, such as Stripe, when you make a purchase.
  • Email service providers used to send requested downloads, newsletters, and product-related messages.

  • Authorities if required by law or if needed to protect our rights, users, or website security.

11. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Payment providers process your payment information according to their own privacy and security practices.

12. Email Communications

If you subscribe or request the Free Resume Starter Kit, we may send you the requested download and related follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails where an unsubscribe option is provided. Transactional or support-related emails may still be sent when needed to deliver a product, confirm access, or respond to your request.

13. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Basic analytics and security log data may be kept for a limited time and then aggregated or deleted when no longer needed. Contact messages and purchase-related records may be kept as needed for support, access verification, accounting, fraud prevention, or security purposes.
